To us....A water test.... is our blueprint, from which we can read and determine
what filtration system you need. There are a few ways to get your water tested.
WATER TESTING AT A LAB
Labs offer different priced comprehensive testing package plans. These tests identify a wide variety of contaminations. It's great to get at least one test like this, because not only do you get accurate results but you establish a bench mark to determine future fluctuations...if any...in your water. We always recommend using a lab. A few labs will come right to your home to fill all the different size bottles needed for the tests you selected. Once you forward these lab results to us we can offer filtration solutions. On well water you should test every 3 years and if you had a problem, every year. On city water, you receive reports but those results usually indicate the condition of the water at the treatment plant....not at your home. Because the water travels through miles of underground pipes we recommend getting a comprehensive test of your water quality as it enters your home.
WATER TESTING DONE BY OUR COMPANY
Most customer call us with focused problems like Brown stains, Green stains, Rotten egg smell, Chlorine, Hard water, Dingy laundry, dry skin, leaking pipes, rotted boilers or hot water heaters, bad taste, etc. In focused situations like this, you most often do not need a comprehensive lab test. When you want to buy a system from us, for problems like these, we will perform our free 5 parameter test which will provide accurate results suitable for filtration recommendations. There could be occasions where our testing proves we need to go further and use a lab. Many times our evaluation will also include inspection of other components of your water distribution system. If these are not working properly...neither will your new water filtration system.
WATER TESTING TO EVALUATE PROBLEMS WHEN A FILTRATION SYSTEMS EXISTS
The first step, is to call us and discuss what the problem is that you are experiencing. With over 7 decades of actual hands on experience, we usually can determine the next course of action by phone. There are a myriad of directions any call could take. Sometime its not the filtration system, others it is, sometimes we can make adjustments by phone, other times we need to charge for a service call...but the FIRST STEP is to at least call and discuss with us what is wrong and go from there.
WATER TESTING for OUR CUSTOMERS DURING OUR ANNUAL SERVICE.
During whole house service at our customers homes, we take water samples and test them...for the sole purpose of evaluating the filtration systems performance. We do not charge our customers for this. These results are for our own internal requirements and are not relinquished to no one, for "no" other purpose. If you receive a call from, us then there is a filtration problem we need to address. IF YOU HAVE NO PROBLEMS....WE DO NOT CALL YOU ... SO IF YOU DO NOT GET A CALL FROM US ... ITS A GOOD THING, because...lol...we'd be on the phone all day calling customer telling them everything is OK.
FREE WATER TESTS ... AVAILABLE ANYWHERE:
Most often these are a waste for so many reasons. It requires specific amounts of water in special bottles to do a comprehensive test. These free tests usually give you a tiny bottle that holds a few drops of water which is not even enough water to one simple test, let alone numerous tests. Normally ... it's real purpose is to get your information so a sales person can call and get into your home.
Remember you get what you pay for. You'd be surprised how many fall for this and get pressured into buying a system.
